Almost May

It's almost May 1st.  Get ready for the warm weather hopefully arriving soon.

iPhone
Using my iPhone and finding it to be a superior product to android.  It syncs with Outlook painlessly.  People I have called say it's clearer than my previous phone.  It IS a game changer as many folks have said.

Windows Home Server
I bought the WHS 2011 software a while ago.  Now I need a 64 bit pc to run it on.  Planning to get a 64 bit Dell with a 1 TB hard drive to run the new version.  The word on the street is that this version will be the last of Windows Home Server.  HP has almost completely pulled out of this area.  They had 3 Home servers for the first version and have discontinued all of them with no successors.

WHS is a great product but does not have enough demand aside from technically minded people who want to centralize their data storage on home and small business networks.  It is a great product for networks with 15 or less PC's.  It maximizes the benefits of a small business network without the added complexity of Windows Small Business Server.  But sadly it does not seem to have captured users in sufficient numbers to make it profitable for MS to continue producing.
